Where to Get Gene Testing

Currently there are several laboratories that offer KRAS and BRAF testing. It may also be available at the cancer center where you are being treated.

These laboratories are among those who currently offer KRAS and BRAF testing of colorectal cancer tumors. Your doctor may know of others or prefer using a particular provider because of the testing method used, accuracy, or reliability. Discuss the right choice with your doctor and with your insurance company.

Is there help with the cost of KRAS testing?

The Chronic Disease Fund can help with both co-pays for those with insurance and the cost of testing for the uninsured. Call them at (877) 968-7233.

Bristol Myers Squibb’s Destination Access program cannot pay directly for testing but can help find out about insurance coverage, help with insurance appeals, and refer patients without coverage to foundations to cover costs. Call (800) 861-0048.
