Even though I know her whole story almost by heart, it still shocks and amazes me every time I read about her achievements over the past 4 years, even in the midst of her battle with colon cancer. She was the best friend a girl could ever have, and a true inspiration. I am going to miss her immensely...no vacation or road trip will ever be the same in her absence, because nobody could bust a move and sing in the car quite like Christy ;-) Thanks again, C3 for being such a source of energy, drive and hope -- yes, hope -- these past few years. Thanks, too, for all the love, compassion and support you C3 members provided to her (and me). I will continue her fight with your help...and hopefully I will be able to recruit some new advocates from her close friends and family (Jan, Christy's mom, wouldn't even let us go to the memorial without a C3 pin and "cover your butt" bracelet on!).
