“Couch Potato Advocacy” Webinar Available to View Online

Posted by Carlea Bauman on August 18th, 2011

Fight Colorectal Cancer held its August 2011 webinar on Wednesday night. The webinar focused on the timely issue of cancer funding and ways that advocates can get involved in the fight to protect it.

Led by David Pugach of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, the audience learned about the current state of cancer research funding and its outlook based on the budget crunch that Congress is facing.

You can listen and watch a recording of the webinar below. If you have questions about any of the issues discussed, feel free to email Fight Colorectal Cancer at advocacy@FightCRC.org.

After you’ve watched the webinar, be sure to write to your Members of Congress in support of cancer research funding.
