Why Donate to C3?
Since 2005, C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition has been the voice of colorectal cancer patients across America, leading the fight against colorectal cancer through research, empowerment and access.
Colorectal cancer (also known as colon or rectal cancer) is the second leading cause of cancer-related death among men and women in the U.S. Although it is easily treated if caught early, colorectal cancer causes nearly 50,000 deaths in the U.S. per year.
When you donate to C3, you are investing in our ability to aggressively pursue lifesaving initiatives that include: research and legislative advocacy, developing the first (and best!) colorectal grassroots program, a clinical trials matching service and an ongoing educational and awareness program that pulls together physicians and people in their communities.
C3 is the national leader that is:
- Providing vital information to colorectal patients and their loved ones through Momentum, our free quarterly newsletter that helps patients navigate their cancer diagnosis by focusing on lifestyle, research, advocacy, and treatment news;
- Directly addressing patients questions about colorectal cancer, current research and financial resources for diagnosis and treatment on its toll-free Answer Line;
- Conducting advocacy trainings and webinars on the science of colorectal cancer for patient advocates who participate on committees that oversee colorectal cancer clinical trials in the U.S.;
- Funding cutting edge research into treatments for late-stage colorectal cancer;
- Hosting grassroots advocacy trainings and lobby days for advocates in Washington, DC; and
- Working with the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services on behalf of colorectal patients.
Please be as generous as possible in supporting our lifesaving initiatives today!
