Radio Talk Show on Sunday: Listen or Call in with Questions

grouproom2For years I have worked closely with Selma Schimmel from the Group Room who provides a radio talk show on cancer every Sunday for two hours. Anyone interested can call in and ask their questions of experts.

Every Sunday a specific topic is discussed such as colon cancer, breast cancer, clinical trials etc. Next Sunday, March 1, the topics will be colon cancer and the issue of young adults with cancer since March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Broadcast times are  4-6pm ET, 3-5pm CT,1-3pm PT.

You can call in with questions to 800-GRP-ROOM (800-477-7666) or or email specific questions.  You can also email live during the show with questions for me or the other guests.

You can actually listen on the web from anywhere or find a radio station that carries the broadcast. The website gives more information.

If you are not able to listen on Sunday, you can listen to the show the next day online. The web site makes it very easy to navigate.

As for the show on Sunday — we are having one of my patients as a guest. We are working with C3 and hoping to get Research Advocate Andy Giusti to call in, and we are also working with the young adult organization — The Colon Club.  It should be a really great show – talk to you on Sunday!
