Meet the Instructors:

kay-kay-clivio-yogaKAY KAY CLIVIO:  Kay Kay is a senior teacher at Pure Yoga NYC and the head of Pure’s Teacher Training Program. Recognized by many, including New York Magazine, as one of the best instructors in New York, Kay Kay’s classes are a beautiful manifestation of an ongoing dialogue with past teachers and present students. Her instruction is pertinent and meticulous and her classes are fresh, super fun, challenging, but most extraordinarily, at times, transcendent. Private intention coupled with thoughtfully curated sequences, tunes, and personal reflections have created a signature tonality and rhythm; and yet her instruction resembles and calls out to something wider, something universal much like the craft of a poet or artist.

WILL SCHNEIDER:Will Yoga Will Schneider believes it’s important to live one’s life profoundly. He helps his students understand the benefits in seeing themselves accomplishing great things, experiencing new adventures, testing limits and knowing that through their willingness to let go and jump-in, they’re going to be at least wiser – and at best, triumphant!! Having lived in NYC for the last 10 years, Will is a full-time 500hr certified Yoga Teacher having Studied with Kelly Morris and the Conquering Lion TT Program and is the owner/founder of Zaanti Private Yoga, LLC helping practitioners of all levels discover more of their potential. Will’s own adventures have traveled him through Nigeria, into the Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro and in April 2012, graduated a young Tanzanian man from Arusha College (TZ) who is now a Primary School Teacher in his own community.

Dance party – 11am

Back by popular demand! Come get moving and grooving with a dance party in Grand Central. The excitement is sure to raise awareness about CRC and excitement for the one million colorectal cancer survivors. Make sure to sign up as a volunteer if you plan to participate in the dance party.

Meet the Instructor:

SARAH GIMAUD:Sarah ZumbaA certified Zumba Instructor and Health Coach, Sarah Grimaud has had a life long passion for dancing and performing.  She moved to NYC after college, fell in love with Zumba after taking classes with some of the city’s top instructors at Z Club NY, and was inspired to get licensed.  She loves motivating others to be healthy and spreading joy through Zumba.  She teaches all around NYC at Z Club NY, NYSC, and private offices, universities and residential buildings.  She is honored to be a part of this colorectal cancer awareness event as this important cause hits close to home- having lost her father to colon cancer when she was young.

Vow Renewal Ceremony and a Special Performance by Craig Campbell – 1pm

Survivors and their caregivers will be publically renewing their commitments to one another. Singer-songwriter and Country Music Award nominee Craig Campbell will be performing and sharing his story about how colorectal cancer impacted his life.

About Craig Campbell:  After moving from his hometown of Lyons, Georgia to Nashville in 2002 to pursue his country music dreams, American Country Awards nominee Craig Campbell quickly picked up work as a keyboardist in Luke Bryan and Tracy Byrd’s bands and was later discovered playing a regular gig at legendary Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage. Since signing with Bigger Picture, he has entertained crowds across the U.S., Australia and Switzerland, performed for national TV audiences on Fox & Friends, Huckabee and Marie and has been profiled in HLN’s series Road Warriors. The singer-songwriter has earned well-deserved praise from the country’s toughest critics for his 2011 self-titled debut album, which has sold more than a half-million tracks. Campbell’s autobiographical lead single, “Family Man” was a top 15 hit followed by fan-favorite “Fish.” His latest hit, “Keep Them Kisses Comin,’” is the follow-up single to smash “Outta My Head,” from his sophomore album, Never Regret, which is out now.
