“Change doesn’t come from Washington. Change comes to Washington.”
President Barack Obama
What is Fight Colorectal Cancer’s Lobby Day?
“I speak out for myself – a colorectal cancer survivor of 9 years, for those lost to colorectal cancer, and for those yet to be diagnosed. The enthusiasm and passion shared by all advocates old and new and the training by Fight Colorectal Cancer ignites the HOPE and FIRE in each one of us to let our voices about colorectal cancer issues be heard.”
Pam Seijo, Beaver, WV
Each year, Fight Colorectal Cancer brings together volunteers from across the country to learn about the latest legislative issues affecting cancer patients and their families, and encourage federal legislators to make colorectal cancer a number one priority. This is YOUR chance to meet one-on-one with your elected officials and/or their staff to share your story and ask for support on a number of federal issues essential to fighting colorectal cancer.
Let your voice be heard by attending Fight Colorectal Cancer’s 2011 Lobby Day. Together we can bring change to Washington and make the fight against colorectal cancer a top legislative priority.
