C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition is happy to be invited to the Livestrong Presidential Cancer Forum in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Forum is hosted by the Lance Armstrong Foundation and MSNBC. This forum will give Candidates the chance to speak on how they are planning to address the war on cancer if elected President.
Advocate Suzanne Lindley will accompany Joe Arite, C3’s Policy and Grassroots Manager, to the event.
While in Iowa, Joe and Suzanne will attend both Republican and Democratic forums and have a chance to mingle with the candidates afterwards at receptions. While at the receptions they will share their thoughts on what is necessary to beat this disease.
C3 would like to wish Suzanne and Joe luck while in Iowa!

Hi! This is OUR chance to have colon cancer questions answered by both parties. Take a couple of minutes and think of something pithy and engaging (hint, Rob!!!)and give Joe & Suzanne something to rave about in Iowa! Some one of us must be able to get colorectal cancer in play! Take a moment and sign on…C3 is a National group and a C3 National Question on CRC for these debates is ‘too good an opportunity’ to pass up. Let us know if yours is chosen!

Pith-meter is not on quite now. My concerns are:
* Research funding for all stages of colorectal cancer
* Screening available cross-income to all demographic status
* Not just talk, not just proposals but a plan for change in health insurance rates and availability and a timeline for instituting these changes
I know both Joe and Suzanne will be eloquently espouse what is needed. I hope meaningful face time with those who can help start the change process will be available.
And, enjoy!
