Rep. Donald M. Payne, Jr. Champions Colorectal Cancer

With teary eyes, Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. told the story of losing his father, Congressman Donald M. Payne, Sr., to colon cancer in 2012.  Although Payne mourns the loss of his father, he’s taken up his charge and furthers his legacy through supporting colorectal cancer patients and initiatives on the Hill.

We were honored to meet with Rep. Payne, Jr. at the 2013 Call-on Congress.

As Congressman Payne, Jr. recommends, face-to-face contact with elected officials is the BEST WAY to get your message out. At Call-on Congress, those passionate about colorectal cancer do just that. Our advocates receive training and the opportunity to meet with their elected officials in-person. It’s an amazing experience for anyone touched by colorectal cancer.
