Welcome to RATS!
We are delighted to welcome all of our new members to RATS (Research Advocacy Training and Support) and of course we immediately put them to work! Some of them are experienced advocates, some are newbies, some have a science background and some don’t. What we all have in common is a desire to impact research on behalf of patients.

We accepted more people than anticipated and will focus most of the interaction via online work, with some face to face trainings. We are going to work on a private group on Facebook, which as our Board President Nancy Roach exclaimed: “this blows my mind (I’m 56) but actually works very well … much to my astonishment!” The power of social media connects us all!
Along with Facebook we also plan to use the Citrix “Go To Meeting” for interactive webinar trainings.
