Frankly Speaking about Colorectal Cancer in Miami

colorectal-coverA free educational workshop — Frankly Speaking about Colorectal Cancer — will be held at the Wellness Community of Greater Miami on Thursday, June 11th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Dr. Antonio Ucar, medical oncologist at Baptist Hospital, will be the featured speaker.  Dr. Ucar is Board Certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, Pain Medicine, Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care.

Everyone who attends the workshop will receive a free copy of Frankly Speaking about Colorectal Cancer.

This free educational program provides support, education and hope to people affected by colorectal cancer and their loved ones. In this workshop, you will learn about the most current treatments for colorectal cancer, strategies for managing symptoms and side effects of treatment, the social and emotional challenges of the diagnosis, and survivorship issues specific to people with colorectal cancer.
