Blue Star States Campaign Turns Country “Blue” For Colon Cancer

This year, we teamed up with our friends at Colon Cancer Alliance to turn all 50 states blue and recognize March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Volunteers across the nation took on the challenge and successfully received proclamations from 46 of the 50 states plus two state-issued letters, declaring the nation nearly all blue. President Obama even proclaimed March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month to kick off March! It’s been an incredible month! We don’t want this momentum to end. Happy: Recap of Day 3 of 2014 Call-on Congress

It may sound strange that the #1 song on Billboard’s Top 100 this week, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, became the go-to song on our playlist this week at Call-on Congress. But there’s no other way to put it. Crazy, I know.
