Cuts for a Cause – Profile Barber Institute Gives Back

Rodrick Samuels is a motivation to many across the U.S. Not only does he run and own Profile Barber Institute and serve as a well-known professional in the personal appearance industry, Rodrick’s also a passionate advocate in the fight against colorectal cancer. On March 21, Rodrick combined his passions and hosted a fundraising event, “Cuts for a Cause,” at Profile Barber with his students. As students styled hair, customers paid… but on this day, all proceeds were donated to Fight Colorectal Cancer. In early October, the class, friends and family raised funds for Fight Colorectal Cancer to

Rose’s Rebels Have Taken the Field . . . again!

The community around the park . . . devastated.  Twelve months later there remains an entire block of abandoned homes still cordoned off by the state. Jersey Strong But despite last year’s storm, not everything in Sayreville is underwater and drowned out.  Life rebounded. Spirits remained strong – Jersey Strong – as some were quick to tell me as we sipped hot “cawfee” and settled in for a classic fall softball tournament. I was welcomed to Sayreville by a great group
