Rep. Payne, Jr. Addresses House and Thanks Our Advocates

Today Rep. Donald M. Payne, Jr. stood before his colleagues and encouraged all of us in the colorectal cancer community. With his blue star pin fastened on his lapel, he honored the memory of his father, the late congressman, who passed away from colorectal cancer exactly two years ago today. Rep. Payne, Jr. thanked the President for declaring March 2014 as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. He thanked his colleagues for co-signing his letter to President Obama asking for the proclamation.
