Weather Message from Fight Colorectal Cancer – March 3 Event

UPDATE – AS OF MAR. 3 — 6:00AM

We celebrate that the weather report has changed and the forecast is looking much milder than originally expected!

All activities are ON as planned today! Can’t wait to see everyone!

If you’re joining us in NYC, make sure to be on time for each event. We have a packed day ahead of us!

UPDATE – AS OF FEB. 28 — 11:30AM

The weather is looking cold (25 degrees) in New York City with likely flurries on Monday. Thank goodness we are inside at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall!

comemarchwithus_seal-01Grand Central Terminal historically stays open. The decision to continue, delay or cancel an event due to weather is always a difficult one. As of right now, our kick-off event will go on!

Our staff will continue to monitor the weather conditions in New York City. If you are commuting, please be sure to check the weather temperatures, monitor your e-mail or check our website for updates. Always be safe when checking-in during your commute.

Ultimately, it is important for each of you to make a decision based on your safety and comfort level when traveling.

For our march activity to Times Square at 3 PM:

We may start earlier if attendees need to take the shuttle/ “S” train that goes from Grand Central to Times Square due to weather conditions.

It will take more than cold (or flurries) to stop us from kicking off March Colorectal Cancer Awareness month. Be sure to bundle up!

We are strong! I know our New Yorkers are super strong!

Best wishes,

Anjee Davis
