Shelby joined the Fight CRC team in July of 2024. She is originally from Southern California. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and her Master’s Degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Prior to her time at Fight CRC she worked on Capitol Hill in a variety of positions supporting members of Congress.

Shelby is the Communication Manager for the Disease Awareness team. Shelby became passionate about helping raise awareness and empowering individuals affected by cancer after losing her brother Jacob to Angiosarcoma when he was 21 years old. She honors Jacob’s memory in her work with the Fight CRC team.

In her free time, Shelby loves to read, needlepoint, and cook. She loves theater and can/will sing along to most musicals. She even performs in community theater productions in Northern VA. Just as her brother did, she loves to laugh and make others laugh.

Shelby is based in Falls Church, Virginia.
