Becky Selig, MSW

Director of Patient Education and Research

Becky joined the Fight CRC team in May 2022 as the Director of Patient Education and Research. Becky has worked with the cancer community for more than 10 years. With colorectal cancer incidence on the rise, particularly among those under the age of 50, Becky is passionate about increasing screening rates and providing resources and services to survivors and their caregivers to help improve their quality of life. Fight CRC is a leader in the colorectal cancer space and she is thrilled to be working alongside such an amazing team.

For the past six years, Becky was the Comprehensive Cancer Program Manager at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) where she worked with partners from around the state to reduce the burden of cancer across the care continuum. Prior to that, Becky was the Family Services Manager at Brent’s Place, a non-profit in Denver that provides housing and other support services to families from outside the area whose child is being treated for life-threatening cancer.

Becky grew up in Denver and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from George Washington University. After eight years working in marketing/communications, she followed her passion and earned a Master of Social Work degree from University of Denver. In her free time she enjoys traveling, being outdoors with her friends and family, and spending time with her adorable niece.

Becky is based in Denver, CO.
