Director of Communications
Nancy Levesque joined the team at Fight CRC in April 2018, having just found out her aunt was diagnosed with stage 2 CRC, she took it as a sign that she needed to be doing this important work.
Nancy has over 12 years experience in marketing and communications for nonprofit organizations–working on issues from sexual assault to K-12 education in low-income communities. While in education, she had the privilege of collaborating with First Lady Michelle Obama on a summer education campaign. Nancy also led a social marketing campaign in the City of Baltimore that received both national and local media attention. She was also instrumental in overseeing the design and production of a summer programming manual, Summer Starts in September, which won a MarCom Gold Award.
Prior to her nonprofit career, Nancy spent several years working in nationally-recognized marketing and advertising companies and divisions such as Arnold Worldwide and Discovery Communications. She has a BA in English from York College of Pennsylvania.
Nancy currently resides in Frederick, Maryland, outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband, Carl and two rescue dogs.
