Bailey Guthrie

Project Coordinator

Bailey joined Fight CRC in 2021 as a Project Coordinator of Research Advocacy. She was born and raised in Cambodia and immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 11. She always had a passion for helping others and was able to pursue this mission through higher education in the medical field. Her undergraduate studies were at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where she studied Biochemistry in preparation for pharmacy school. While attending UMBC she was a Captain of the UMBC Dance Team and continued to pursue her cheerleading career with the NFL. She continued her education by pursuing a Doctorate of Pharmacy and working with two major retail pharmaceutical companies in Maryland. These employment opportunities helped develop her interpersonal skills where she became adept at working with a diverse group of patients with assisting them according to their personal needs to ensure that their quality of healthcare was provided at the optimum level. Bailey is a proud military spouse and is excited for the opportunities to research, advocate, and fight for colorectal cancer not only in the military community but on a national scale with Fight CRC.
