Mission Champion Vice President
Scott Wilson is a brand-builder on a mission. An experienced business leader with more than twenty years’ experience in communications, marketing, and regulatory affairs – mostly with Molson Coors Brewing Company – Scott is also a colorectal cancer survivor, driven to change the future of this disease.
In the UK, Scott led a public health and industry collaboration which succeeded in removing 1 billion harmful units of alcohol from the British drinks market, before taking on a global corporate affairs leadership role in the US, in 2015, one year before he was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer.
After colon and liver surgeries and an aggressive 40-week chemotherapy program, Scott was declared NED (no evidence of disease) in August 2017 and, like so many people touched by cancer, become a deeply committed colorectal cancer advocate.
Scott set up an employer-led colorectal cancer screening initiative for employees at Molson Coors and, inspired by Fight CRC’s Call on Congress initiative, he formed a colorectal cancer policy workgroup on behalf of the Cancer Coalition in his home state of Colorado.
A former member of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance Board of Directors, Scott is a 2019 Colon Club participant and was recognized by the Colorado Cancer Coalition as the Outstanding Community Advocate of 2019.
Scott lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife, Jaione, and their children, Andrew and Alba.
