Sharyn joined Fight Colorectal Cancer in January 2016. Her work is centered around the needs of those touched by colorectal cancer. She enjoys learning from and working with cancer survivors, their families and medical professionals. She is driven to help increase the quality of life for all those touched by the disease.
Sharyn has a special interest in cancer survivorship, specifically in research around complementary and alternative medicine and physical activity. Sharyn earned her Master of Public Health at the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Denver. She has a passion to reduce health disparities and empower individuals to live well. She has been involved in the program planning and development of healthy-eating programming for local community gardens and has a passion for program evaluation.
Sharyn resides in Northern California.
