Introduction to Social Media Champion

Social media amplifies our advocacy efforts and allows us to interact with our community of #RelentlessChampions consistently. When you become a Social Media Champion, you use your network to inform the community about the latest Fight CRC news, promote fundraisers and events, and share patient education materials. Our goal is to make a big impact, and we would love for you to help make that impact. You can help us grow our voice.

What It Looks Like to Be a Social Media Champion

As a social media champion, you work with our social media coordinator, Sarah Smith, and our Hope Coordinator Paula Chambers Raney. They provide you with Fight CRC material to post each week on whichever social media platform you are most comfortable. They will send you graphics and captions, so you don’t have to stress about what to post.

How Does Being a Social Media Champion Work?

When there is an event or big happening taking place in your local community, you…

  • Promote it on your social media and encourage your network to join in. Be sure to include coworkers, team, neighbors, friends, family – anyone you want to join you!
  • Snap a #StrongArmSelfie of yourself and/or encourage others to take one. This is an easy, fun way to raise awareness and funds. For every #StrongArmSelfie that is posted and hashtagged, $1 is donated to the fight against colorectal cancer.
  • Get creative! We want YOU to join us and help spread awareness for colorectal cancer on social media. We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions!
