We’re entering that giving time of year! Have you done your due diligence before donating? Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) holds the four-star Charity Navigator rating. This is the highest rating within Charity Navigator, the nation’s most utilized charity evaluator and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

So, as you consider donating to Fight CRC, we want you to know that we appreciate your trust that we will be good stewards of your gifts. We know how hard you work for your money, and we appreciate and love every dollar.

More than 84% of Fight CRC’s program expenses are focused on funding promising, high-impact research endeavors, while equipping advocates to influence legislation and policy for the collective good of our colorectal cancer community.

What Does a Four-Star Charity Navigator Rating Mean?

A four-star rating is the highest recognition from Charity Navigator and means that Fight CRC has “sound fiscal management practices and commitment to accountability and transparency.”

In addition, this four-star Charity Navigator rating means you can give with confidence to Fight CRC, knowing your gift directly funds programs and resources within the colorectal cancer community.

“It’s wonderful that we’ve been able to maintain this rating. Our community of donors can feel confident that their donation directly supports colorectal cancer research, advancing colorectal cancer policy – at the state and federal levels, and supporting survivors, family members, and caregivers. We’re so thankful for our community for Relentless Champions."

–Michell Baker, Director of Philanthropy, Fight Colorectal Cancer

Why the Four-Star Charity Navigator Rating Is Important

The four-star Charity Navigator rating places Fight CRC in a distinct group of charities recognized for sound governance and ethical practices, as well as transparency. Four-star recognition further exemplifies Fight CRC’s commitment to excellence in its operations.

“Fight CRC’s coveted four-star rating puts it in a very select group of high-performing charities. “Out of the thousands of nonprofits Charity Navigator evaluates, only one out of four earns four stars – a rating that demands rigor, responsibility and commitment to openness. Fight CRC’s supporters should feel much more confident that their hard-earned dollars are being used efficiently and responsibly when it acquires such a high rating.”

–Michael Thatcher, President & CEO of Charity Navigator

This holiday season, generous donors are matching your gift, which will double the impact. You can feel twice as good making your donation of support showing others that no one fights alone.

And you’re donating to an organization who is recognized as a top-ranked charity due to our sound financial reporting and accountability.

  1. I lost my wife in August 2014 to colon cancer, she was 48 years old.I am glad I found your website,I feel ready to move ahead and make people aware of this terrible disease. Her strength and faith inspire me still.those of us who were caregivers need to help in anyway we can.I believe 50 is to old for screenings, but that’s just my opinion,we ran across numerous patients 40 years and younger.I hope to learn more and be active in this awareness.thank all if you while help with this disease.
