Help us welcome our new (& returning!) team members and learn about why they're joining the fight against colorectal cancer.

Devin Heid, Technical Analyst

Cancer is something no one wants to go through. It leaves uncertainty and a feeling of "what now?" Fight CRC provides resources for next steps, along with access to a group of people who are going through the same struggles. Providing hope and connections to other patients and survivors makes Fight CRC different and it's why I'm excited to join the team.

Andrew Wortmann, Community Engagement Manager

The advocates at Fight CRC are the most passionate and motivated of anywhere. It’s exciting to be back with the Fight CRC team to help push the advocacy program forward and expand our reach! This team is bold and determined, and I am so excited for the future of this program, organization, and community.

Emily Piekut, Communications Assistant

Being back at Fight CRC is like coming home. I'm thrilled to be part of the Fight CRC team again - which is honestly more like family. Fight CRC and our advocates are changing the world, and I'm honored to play a small role in the game-changing things on the horizon.

Rebecca Nance, Office Administrator

I have felt so welcomed by everyone since joining Fight CRC! Working alongside a community of people who are so completely dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and fighting for one another is truly humbling. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this inspiring community.

Brian Threlkeld, Climb & Photography Manager

When I first got involved with Fight CRC as a survivor and advocate, I knew this was a special organization. Never have I encountered a group of such compassionate, determined and genuine people. Now as a full-time staff member, I’m continually humbled by the work I get to be a part of every day as we continue to strengthen our collective voice to achieve our mission

Maia Walker, Lead Curator of the Fight CRC Trial Finder

I was drawn to Fight CRC by the clarity of its mission: organizing advocacy and promoting research. Immediately, I was struck by the quality of its people: unrelenting, hopeful, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, generous… Now, becoming part of such a family is simply a dream that comes true. It renews my desire to help to change outcomes for patients and families, and make a cure happen.
