As part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign, Benson has chosen to support Fight Colorectal Cancer as an honor to his mother, a stage III survivor. When asked why he selected Fight CRC, Benson said, "I chose y'all because it was something I have been personally affected by and there is no better way to use my voice and my platform to bring awareness to an issue that can sometimes be caught in the shadows of some of the other cancers."
