Fight Colorectal Cancer is joined by Dr. Edith Mitchell from Thomas Jefferson University, Wyatt Pickner from the American Indian Cancer Foundation, and Dr. Amelie Ramirez from Salud America! for an engaging webinar that explores barriers and access to colorectal cancer clinical trials for communities who are underrepresented in clinical trial enrollment.

Research Updates

Biobank Research Breakthrough

In 2019, Fight CRC partnered with the Colon Cancer Coalition to fund Dr. Lisa Boardman and her team at the Mayo University to create a biobank that aims to understand the genetic, microbial, and telomere related differences in colorectal cancer that develops in young adults compared to colon and rectal cancers that develop at later ages. Now two years into the project, we checked in with Dr. Boardman to see how her work is progressing and how this will benefit the patient community!
