This September is bittersweet at Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC). Summer is winding down, days are getting shorter and colder, and our 2021 Ambassadors’ introductory year comes to a close. This group of 24 colorectal cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and medical professionals have worked tirelessly with us since May of last year to raise awareness of the disease.

This past Ambassador year was like no other. These advocates shared their stories, participated in events, raised funds, and took part in focus groups, despite Fight CRC’s efforts being 100% virtual. COVID-19 restrictions may have kept us distant, but we remained united in our fight against colorectal cancer because no one fights alone.

It is with sincere gratitude and appreciation that we thank our Ambassadors for all they’ve done: from representing Fight CRC on social media, promoting Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in Times Square, attending Call-on Congress and the Day of Action, and through amazing fundraising for colorectal cancer research.

In Memory of Keilah Goff

This group of relentless champions will remain a part of the Fight CRC Family for life. It is our hope that they will take what they have learned and continue their efforts in their own communities moving forward. Their voices have such a huge impact.

Fight CRC’s mission is to FIGHT to cure colorectal cancer and serve as relentless champions of hope for all affected by this disease through informed patient support, impactful policy change, and breakthrough research endeavors.

It is with the support and community of Fight CRC Ambassadors that we are relentless as we continue our fight.

This is not “goodbye” to our Ambassadors. We can’t wait to see your passion, photos, words, encouragement, and posts as we continue together, with you, on the path to a cure for colorectal cancer.
