Convocatoria del Congreso

Congress needs to prioritize colorectal cancer right now. By 2030, colorectal cancer is estimated to become the leading cause of cancer-related deaths for people under age 50.

March 12-14, 2023 Washington D.C.

Call-on Congress is an event where colon and rectal cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones from all over the U.S. unite to make their voices heard in Washington, D.C. We demand that policymakers act. We can’t afford to wait, lives are at stake today. What once was enough, no longer is. We need to fight for more.



National Mall Flag Installation (optional)

Voluntario to help place 27,400 blue flags on the National Mall to raise awareness and urge our elected officials to prioritize colorectal cancer as part of United in Blue. Make sure to sign up to let us know you are coming!


Mix & Mingle (Call-on Congress Check-in)

Join Fight CRC as we welcome you to Call-on Congress with an opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow advocates!  There will be light bites, refreshments,  games and great conversations! See you there!

Nervous about meeting with your members of Congress? Don’t be! Fight CRC’s Advocacy Team will provide an overview of everything you need to have a successful day of meetings. (*Note: This is in addition to the virtual advocacy training through Community of Champions that we highly recommend you complete in advance of arriving to DC).

United in Blue Rally

Join Fight CRC as we welcome the colorectal cancer community to rally together at our United in Blue installation. United in Blue is not just an impactful installation: It’s a call to action. Our community is united and working together to make impactful policy change. No one person or organization can win this fight alone.

Celebration Dinner: A Night of Champions

We will cap off the day with a celebration of relentless champions of hope! There will be dinner, dancing and other fun surprises as we celebrate the incredible victories of the past year and get excited to continue that momentum in our meetings with elected officials the next day!

Before we walk the halls of Congress, we will continue the tradition of a group photo in front of the United States Capitol as we unite and fight together for MORE!

Meetings with Members of Congress and Staff

We are meeting with our elected officials in person for the first time since 2019!

Meetings with members of Congress and their staff are coordinated by the Fight CRC Advocacy Team, and you will receive your finalized schedule upon arrival in Washington, DC.
