Every event, big or small, plays a crucial part in nuestra misión. By hosting an event, you’re spreading awareness, fostering support, and contributing to vital investigación y defensa efforts. Your initiative paves the way for early detection, effective treatment, and ultimately, a cure.

How to Get Started:

• Understand Our Cause: Educate yourself on colorectal cancer stats, its impact, and Fight CRC’s mission. Knowledge is power.
• Plan Your Event: Decide on the type of event you want to host. It could be a community walk, an educational seminar, a tribute gala, or even a virtual fundraiser. Choose what resonates with you and your community.
• Fill Out Our Event Registration: Let us know about your event by filling out our event registration form. We’ll provide resources, support, and guidance to make your event a success.
• Gather Your People: Rally friends, family, and community members to help organize and promote your event. Every hand helps.
• Promote Your Event: Use social media, local media, and community boards to spread the word. Our store has awesome promotional materials, and we are happy to send educational materials to you.
• Host and Inspire: Bring your event to life with passion and enthusiasm. Share stories, celebrate survivors, and honor memories. Your event is a powerful testament to the strength of our community.

We’re with you at every step of planning your event. To help local communities that may not have a name for their event or direction for how to go about hosting an event, we have put together resources for “Cure Events.”

Fight CRC’s Cure Events offer an event toolkit, which is filled with checklists, promotional materials, guidelines, and inspirational ideas. Use the templates that our team created to ensure your event shines.

• Event Platform Support: Leverage our online donation platform for event registration, fundraising pages, and community forums, making it easier to organize, fundraise, and connect with participants.

Important things to know:

2. Your event is considered a third-party event, and you are responsible for all vendor agreements, contracts, insurance, and necessary permits for the event.
3. Donations made directly to a third-party event can be used to cover the event’s expenses, but if the donation is not directly made to Fight CRC, it is not tax deductible. A donation to Fight CRC is fully tax deductible only when it is made directly to Fight CRC. According to tax law, we must verify the gift was made, and the nature of the gift, to the IRS. Donors wishing to receive a tax acknowledgment letter should provide their donation to Fight CRC via check or online.
4. We are not able to loan our tax-exempt status to anyone outside of our organization, even for fundraising purposes.
5. Our team must approve the use of our logo on any event-related marketing materials.
