I ran half marathons, worked nights in an ER, had two little boys and was in my Masters program. My sister (41) had shoulder pain, went to the ER and was found to have <a href=\"https:\/\/fightcolorectalcancer.org\/patient-caregivers\/education-resources\/just-diagnosed\/staging\/stage-iv-colorectal-cancer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">colon cancer Stage 4<\/a>. That is the day all of our lives changed. I was devastated.
