Publicado en l\u00ednea antes de su impresi\u00f3n.   <\/p>\n<p><b>RESUMEN<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La incidencia de los c\u00e1nceres de aparici\u00f3n precoz, que suelen definirse como aquellos diagnosticados antes de los 50 a\u00f1os, ha ido aumentando en todo el mundo en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. En concreto, se ha observado un aumento en varias regiones de la incidencia de varios tipos de c\u00e1ncer del sistema digestivo de aparici\u00f3n precoz, como los de es\u00f3fago, est\u00f3mago, colon y recto, h\u00edgado, conductos biliares extrahep\u00e1ticos, ves\u00edcula biliar y p\u00e1ncreas. Para esclarecer los mecanismos carcinog\u00e9nicos y desarrollar estrategias eficaces de prevenci\u00f3n, detecci\u00f3n precoz y tratamiento, se necesita m\u00e1s evidencia sobre los factores de riesgo y las caracter\u00edsticas cl\u00ednicas, patol\u00f3gicas y moleculares.
