La t\u00eda Jess siempre tuvo una actitud muy positiva ante las posibilidades y oportunidades que esto le pod\u00eda brindar, y decidi\u00f3 que el c\u00e1ncer de colon formara parte de su trayectoria vital. Vivi\u00f3 seis a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tras el diagn\u00f3stico y se convirti\u00f3 en uno de mis mayores referentes gracias al legado que dej\u00f3 con su labor de defensa de la causa\u00bb.\n<p>Ethan Houck, de 17 a\u00f1os, cont\u00f3 a su tropa de Eagle Scouts lo mucho que le hab\u00edan marcado su t\u00eda y su lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer, y c\u00f3mo eso le hab\u00eda inspirado para animar a sus compa\u00f1eros a participar en Fight CRC. El 6 de marzo, \u00e9l y otros 12 Eagle Scouts visitaron la sede central de Fight CRC en Springfield, Misuri, para ayudar a preparar los paquetes de inscripci\u00f3n para la campa\u00f1a \u00abCall-on Congress\u00bb. <\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abLo que me anim\u00f3 a hacerme voluntario en Fight CRC fue que estaba buscando ideas para mi proyecto del Programa de los A\u00f1os Intermedios del Bachillerato Internacional en mi colegio. Hab\u00eda le\u00eddo mucho sobre el trabajo de defensa e investigaci\u00f3n que mi t\u00eda, la Dra. Jessica Martin, hab\u00eda realizado con Fight CRC a trav\u00e9s del programa de Formaci\u00f3n y Apoyo a la Investigaci\u00f3n y Defensa, y al ver el impacto real que ten\u00eda, decid\u00ed colaborar con ellos en ese proyecto\u00bb, explic\u00f3 Ethan.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ethan dijo que le hac\u00eda mucha ilusi\u00f3n colaborar con <a href=\"https:\/\/fightcolorectalcancer.org\/events\/call-on-congress\/\">\u00abCall-on-Congress\u00bb<\/a> porque le permit\u00eda conectar con la labor que su t\u00eda Jess realizaba en \u00abFight CRC\u00bb y sab\u00eda que era un proyecto importante con un gran impacto en los dem\u00e1s. Este evento le dio a Ethan la oportunidad de ver de primera mano lo que hace \u00abFight CRC\u00bb y la importancia que tiene un solo proyecto. Est\u00e1 muy agradecido por toda la ayuda que le han dado sus compa\u00f1eros Eagle Scouts durante todo el proceso y quiere seguir ofreciendo a la tropa m\u00e1s oportunidades para contribuir a la misi\u00f3n de Fight CRC.    <em>\u00abSi hay algo que me gustar\u00eda que los dem\u00e1s supieran, es que es s\u00faper f\u00e1cil marcar una gran diferencia.
