Johnson de Oncolog\u00eda Quir\u00fargica y M\u00e9dica, Codirectora de Oncolog\u00eda GI y Codirectora del Programa de Investigaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer Gastrointestinal, Directora de Relaciones Estrat\u00e9gicas y Directora del Programa de C\u00e1nceres en Adultos J\u00f3venes del Centro Oncol\u00f3gico Vanderbilt-Ingram. Ha sido Embajadora de la campa\u00f1a ResearcHERS de la Sociedad Americana del C\u00e1ncer en Nashville (2020-2022). Es una mentora muy solicitada y form\u00f3 parte del Consejo de Mentores de Vanderbilt-Ingram y actualmente es mentora de la subvenci\u00f3n T-32 y act\u00faa como Mentora de Desarrollo Profesional. Fue Directora del Programa de Investigaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo del GI SPORE. Sigue asumiendo puestos de liderazgo dedicados al desarrollo de ensayos cl\u00ednicos de fase I-III con nuevas terapias para el descubrimiento de biomarcadores y la mejora de la utilizaci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos en pacientes con c\u00e1ncer colorrectal, apendicular y anal, y actualmente es la co-PI del Proyecto 3 del GI SPORE propuesto.      <\/p>\n\n<p>A nivel nacional, la Dra. Eng tambi\u00e9n ha participado activamente en ASCO, ECOG y SWOG. Ha formado parte de varios comit\u00e9s de la ASCO, como el Comit\u00e9 de Desarrollo Profesional, el Comit\u00e9 de Educaci\u00f3n para el C\u00e1ncer Colorrectal, el Comit\u00e9 del Programa Cient\u00edfico de la ASCO, el L\u00edder del Grupo de C\u00e1ncer Gastrointestinal-Colorrectal\/Hep\u00e1tico y el Comit\u00e9 Directivo de 2012 a 2015. Fue Presidenta del Comit\u00e9 del Programa Cient\u00edfico del Simposio sobre C\u00e1ncer Gastrointestinal de la ASCO de 2012 a 2013 y Presidenta del Comit\u00e9 Directivo del Simposio sobre C\u00e1nceres Gastrointestinales de 2016. Fue elegida para el Programa de Desarrollo de Liderazgo de la ASCO y form\u00f3 parte del Comit\u00e9 de Relaciones Gubernamentales de la ASCO; trabaj\u00f3 con el Comit\u00e9 de Prevenci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer de la ASCO en la declaraci\u00f3n de consenso relativa a la vacunaci\u00f3n contra el VPH; form\u00f3 parte del Comit\u00e9 de Directrices sobre N\u00e1useas y V\u00f3mitos de la ASCO, del Grupo de Trabajo sobre Taxonom\u00eda de la ASCO, del Comit\u00e9 de Medios Sociales de la ASCO, y actualmente forma parte del Comit\u00e9 de Directrices Colorrectales de la ASCO, del Comit\u00e9 del Programa Cient\u00edfico de la ASCO (Tema del C\u00e1ncer Colorrectal) y del Comit\u00e9 de Comunicaciones de la ASCO. Fue copresidenta del Subcomit\u00e9 de C\u00e1ncer Rectal\/Anal de SWOG, vicepresidenta del Comit\u00e9 GI de SWOG, presidenta del Grupo de Trabajo Rectal\/Anal del NCI (dos mandatos), form\u00f3 parte del Comit\u00e9 Directivo GI del NCI y actualmente es copresidenta del Comit\u00e9 Directivo GI del NCI.      <\/p>\n\n<p>Ha publicado en muchas revistas revisadas por expertos, como Journal of Clinical Oncology, Lancet, Lancet Oncology, Nature Review, JNCI, New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Oncology, Cancer y Annals of Surgical Oncology.
