Rose estaba sana, sin antecedentes familiares de la enfermedad, cuando en 2005, a los 42 a\u00f1os, le diagnosticaron c\u00e1ncer de colon en estadio III y posteriormente en estadio IV.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Libr\u00f3 una incre\u00edble batalla durante casi 12 a\u00f1os y falleci\u00f3 en 2016. Juntos, Eric y Rose celebraron muchos actos de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos para Fight CRC, contribuyendo con decenas de miles de d\u00f3lares a los esfuerzos de investigaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como al fondo de becas para defensores de Call-on Congress.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eric sirvi\u00f3 en la Marina estadounidense y ha sido bombero de carrera durante m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os. Fue Delegado Ejecutivo y ahora Presidente de su sindicato local de bomberos. Tanto Eric como su esposa formaron parte y presidieron el Comit\u00e9 de Acci\u00f3n de Base de Fight CRC.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eric reside en Nueva Jersey y tiene tres hijos. Eric y sus hijos adultos siguen recaudando dinero, concienciando y luchando para encontrar una cura para esta terrible enfermedad.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00abLucho por conseguir m\u00e1s tiempo para encontrar una cura.
