Climb for a Cure is a unique event designed to provide an opportunity for colorectal cancer survivors, caregivers, and advocates to commit to a physical and inspiring challenge in honor of those we have lost and those currently fighting. Climbers will find encouragement and camaraderie as they summit a beautiful peak with others who are in the fight.

Over the past four years, Climb for a Cure has grown from a small crew of 15 individuals to nearly 130 advocates gathering together to climb a Colorado peak. The Climb has raised over $175,000 to support our organization’s work around colorectal cancer Advocacy, Patient Education, and Research.

The 2019 Climb for a Cure in Winter Park, CO is over, but you can still make a difference! You can become a Virtual Climber! What is a Virtual Climber? A virtual climber is someone who wants to support Climb for a Cure from home by participating in an exercise challenge of their own. Register for free today!

Climb 2019!

Fight CRC’s Climb 2019 was held on Monday, July 29 at Mount Flora in Winter Park, Colorado. This was our fourth year to summit a Colorado peak and we are excited to announce it was the most successful event yet! We had 130 climbers join us in Winter Park to connect with other advocates, be inspired by each other and the mountains we climbed!

I am not grateful I got cancer but I am grateful for all the blessings and opportunities it has given me. The Fight CRC community is one of the gifts and Climb for a Cure is one of the opportunities. This unique event brings people from all over the country, touched by colorectal cancer, together to climb to for a cure. The Climb offers something for everyone and it is an adventure you won’t want to miss.

Chris Ganser Scholarship

Climb for A Cure continues into its fourth year largely in part to Founder Chris Ganser. Chris led the first two Climbs and now his memory lives on through the continued mission of bringing people together to Climb for a Cure. This scholarship provides two survivors the opportunity to attend our Climb event with all expenses paid. We are thrilled to have Josh Wimberly and Lisa Johnson join us this year!
