Brandon C. Chapman, MD, MS

Dr. Chapman received his general surgery residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his Colorectal Surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. During his general surgery residency, he received the J. Culthbert Owens Award for Excellence in Teaching and Patient Care. Additionally, he completed a 2-year surgical research fellowship in clinical outcomes and obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Science at the University of Colorado Denver. He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at multiple national meetings across the country. His research interests focus on surgical outcomes and quality improvement, laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, and rectal cancer. He is an active participant in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) and currently serves on the Young Surgeons Committee.
