Azucena Franco Reyes

Patients & Survivors Stage III Colon Cancer Texas
Back to Champion Stories

Story: I live in Texas. I was diagnosed with stage IIIb colon cancer at age 32 years old. I was in the hospital, and I was all alone. The doctor didn't wait for my spouse or loved one to be there before delivering the news.

Advice: You should be more afraid of not knowing what is wrong.

"Don't be afraid. You're not alone. There are many people going through the same thing as you."
