Caregivers Stage III Colon Cancer Illinois
Back to Champion Stories

Story: "My husband lost his battle with colorectal cancer January 30, 2019. He was first diagnosed in 2010. He went through chemo and radiation, and he was declared cancer free in 2012. Unfortunately in 2017 it returned in his lymph nodes. He fought a tough fight and gave it all he had. He was five years cancer free when it returned. We need to keep fighting for a cure. Too many of us are losing loved ones every day from this awful disease. We must keep fighting for our loves who can't anymore! I know I will keep fighting for my husband."

Advice: "Keep fighting the fight!"
