Patients & Survivors Stage III Colon Cancer Pennsylvania
Back to Champion Stories

Story: "At age 47, I went to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. Four surgeries later, I was left with an ileostomy bag and a large hernia that will be fixed soon. I have had three hospital stays with 30 days total spent in the hospital. Three of those days were spent in the ICU.

Chemotherapy was a tiring process, which left feet and hands numb. My cancer had spread to the lymph nodes and is stage III. Prayers and support from my family and friends have been great. God is good."
