I was with my wife in the gastroenterologist\u2019s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had undergone a <a href=\"https:\/\/fightcolorectalcancer.org\/facts\/screening\/colonoscopy\/\">colonoscopy<\/a> and was ushered awake and then taken to the doctor\u2019s office for a private conversation about the 6 cm adenocarcinoma that he found on the wall of my rectum.
