Each mountain we climb – every road we walk down – elevates and celebrates our community as we raise funds for life-changing research in the fight against colorectal cancer.

For many, colorectal cancer is the biggest mountain they will ever face. Climb for a Cure is an opportunity to heal and fight alongside a community of champions.

Every year, hundreds of members of the colorectal cancer community across the country Climb for a Cure in honor or memory of loved ones who have battled this disease. Climb for a Cure raises funds to support our 治愈之路 for colorectal cancer, as we empower and inform patients while driving policy change and breakthrough research.

Climb participants are not limited to only climbing! You can walk, run, bike, skate, or swim—whatever physical activity you choose! You can be as vigorous or as gentle as you like. We encourage everyone to get involved. Be physically challenged and emotionally supported, knowing that hundreds of other Relentless Champions from across the nation are “climbing” alongside you.

Climb for a Cure hosts are passionate about fundraising for our 治愈之路. Each featured Climb has a fundraising goal minimum of $20,000 and recruits at least 50 participants. Donate to their fundraising teams here.

Community Climbs are advocate-led events, hosted BY you and FOR you (and your community)! Don’t be intimidated by the word “Climb” — this event is for everyone! Whether you’re hiking a mountain, swimming laps in a pool, or attending a dance class, we’re all reaching for the same mountaintop — a world without colorectal cancer.

The Climb has become Fight CRC’s largest community fundraiser supporting the 临床试验搜索器, 治愈之路报告 and Think Tanks, early-age onset colorectal cancer research grants, and so many research programs vital to the colorectal cancer community.

Since Climb for a Cure began in 2016, we’ve raised more than $800,000 to support our 治愈之路 for colorectal cancer, as we work to empower and inform patients while driving policy change and breakthrough research. Thank you for believing in our mission and fighting with us!

Chris Ganser Climb Scholarship

The Chris Ganser Climb for a Cure Scholarship is a unique opportunity for two colorectal cancer survivors and/or caregivers to attend our Climb for a Cure event in the Bay Area, California. The Chris Ganser Climb for a Cure Scholarship honors and remembers one of Climb’s co-founders and embodies his climbing spirit. It covers recipients’ travel, lodging, and registration costs. The 2023 Chris Ganser Climb for a Cure Scholarship application will be available April 10 through April 24, 2023.
