Before being diagnosed, Kimberly was experiencing symptoms but did not trust her body. It took her seven months to receive her stage II colorectal cancer diagnosis in July 2015. "Knowledge is power, so the more information we can get to underserved populations, the stronger our global community wil be. There needs to be massive education and support for those who might be experiencing symptoms but too afraid to seek help."
