Tim McDonald, a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor was diagnosed after having pain in his side. After an urgent care visit, Tim had a CT scan and a call from the doctor to come in person. Tim was told he had cancer, and his doctor sent him for a colonoscopy to confirm. Tim says the best advice he received is to get a second, third, and fourth opinion.
The cancer spread to Tim’s liver, and he continues treatment, with the support of his wife. He is passionate about creating colorectal cancer awareness.
