Tim McDonald, a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor was diagnosed after having pain in his side. After an urgent care visit, Tim had a CT scan and a call from the doctor to come in person. Tim was told he had cancer, and his doctor sent him for a colonoscopy to confirm. Tim says the best advice he received is to get a second, third, and fourth opinion.
The cancer spread to Tim’s liver, and he continues treatment, with the support of his wife. He is passionate about creating colorectal cancer awareness.

"I am passionate about learning, sharing my story, and inspiring others. I've learned to avoid asking, "Why me?" but instead I ask, "Why not me?" That's helped me align with who I am and see the opportunities and beauty coming from this tragic situation."
