and rediscover themselves. The Colon Club is focused on three areas: Camp, Community, and a Calendar.

The Colon Club is the space for young people to unapologetically tell cancer to kiss my a**, find their people, and rediscover themselves. The Colon Club is focused on three areas: Camp, Community, and a Calendar.
In the early 2000s, The Colon Club began as a revolutionary movement sounding the alarm that colorectal cancer was happening in young people—well under the screening age.
For two decades, this grassroots organization was powered by passionate volunteers lending their stories and volunteering their time to ensure other patients could find one another, and to raise awareness that colon cancer was NOT an “old man’s disease.”
In 2023, Fight CRC and The Colon Club merged. We are proud to continue the important work of raising awareness and creating spaces for healing and connections.

Since its early days, The Colon Club has produced an educational resource to raise awareness and share stories. For 10 years, it was The Colondar: a calendar. Years later it transitioned to magazines, Colondar 2.0 and On the Rise.
The Colondar will be relaunched for 2026 as an educational resource designed to raise awareness of colorectal cancer in young adults and provide survivors with a helpful tool for planning ahead and organizing their lives.
The Colondar will feature healthy lifestyle tips, stories of young survivors, facts and stats about CRC in young adults, and ways to advocate for self and others.

CoCo The Colossal Colon
The awe-inspiring Colossal Colon® captured the attention of many, standing 40-foot long and 4-foot tall. This crawl-through model replicates the intricacies of the human colon, showcasing everything from healthy tissues to the progression of colorectal cancer. The remarkable structure made a significant debut when Katie Couric spotlighted it on the “Today” show, right in the heart of Rockefeller Center Plaza, NYC. After embarking on a journey spanning the U.S. and Canada, it has found a permanent home at The Houston Health Museum.
Inspired by this monumental creation, inflatable colons now educate and raise awareness globally.

“Find Your Amanda” isn’t just a phrase at The Colon Club; it’s a promise of connection and understanding. In the early 2000s, Molly McMaster met Amanda Sherwood Roberts. Both faced colorectal cancer at a young age, often feeling isolated in their struggle. Their deep bond became a beacon of hope and understanding.
The Colossal Colon is dedicated to Amanda and serves as a heartfelt reminder that, even when the journey feels lonely, others truly understand. Every Colon Club event is designed for young people to find their own ‘Amanda’ – someone who truly “gets it.”

In May 2005, Kim Troisi-Paton confronted a stage III colon cancer diagnosis head-on, dedicating herself to raising awareness about colorectal cancer (CRC). Featuring in 2007 Colondar solidified her connection with The Colon Club’s mission: emphasizing that colorectal cancer doesn’t discriminate by age.
To honor Kim’s indomitable spirit and legacy, her loved ones established The Kimberly Fund. Its purpose is heartfelt: providing grants to children who have a parent or primary caregiver impacted by colorectal cancer.

Imagínate una épica escapada de campamento en un entorno hogareño: hamacas, baños en el lago, conversaciones nocturnas, hogueras y muchas risas, pero con un toque especial. Aquí también encontrará un chef privado, expertos compasivos y charlas impactantes sobre la realidad del cáncer y los recursos y el apoyo que pueden curar las heridas recientes.
At Colon Camp, there’s no tiptoeing around the tough stuff; it’s a place where being a survivor is celebrated unapologetically. From team challenges to art experiences to karaoke nights and more, this is the place unfiltered conversations get real, fast. Colon Camp is about building friendships while healing and equipping each other with the strength to keep fighting.
Colon Camp is open to survivors ages 18-39 who meet eligibility criteria.
