"I want to continue my brother's fight. No one should have to suffer through the things he faced during his four year battle, but especially not young people in their 20s. We need to find answers for why early onset colorectal cancer is on the rise."

Age at Diagnosis: 24

My brother, Evan White, was an ambassador in 2020. He was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2017 at the age of 24. I lived with him for two years while he was going through treatment and got to witness all the side effects from surgeries/chemo/radiation. Every March after his diagnosis, he hosted the Brews & Brew Bar Crawl in Dallas to raise money for FightCRC and raised around $15K each year. He was NED for one year before the cancer came back to his colon and rectum. A year later the cancer then spread to his lungs. In 2020, the cancer spread to his lungs.

After four years of fighting, he sadly passed away in October of 2021. He asked my family to keep the bar crawl going and continue his fight. Since then, I have organized the bar crawl in his honor. I would love to follow in his footsteps and serve as an ambassador with FightCRC.
