CEO
Anjee Davis
Anjee Davis, MPPA
Anjee Davis is a passionate advocate and leader at Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC), where she has driven significant growth and impact since joining in 2011. Starting as Director of Community Engagement, she became President in 2015, leading the organization to a 14.21% annual growth rate from 2011 to 2023. Under her leadership, Fight CRC has advanced its mission to improve prevention, patient support, research, and policy. She was promoted to CEO in 2025.
Anjee has expanded Fight CRC’s grassroots movement, engaging thousands of advocates nationwide. Her efforts led to the One Million Strong campaign, which continues to unite patients and families through the #strongarmselfie movement. She played a crucial role in the 2021 decision to lower the recommended screening age for colorectal cancer from 50 to 45, and she’s continuing to work on eliminating out-of-pocket costs for follow-up colonoscopies after positive noninvasive tests and define quality metrics for colorectal cancer care.
She has fostered international collaboration on early-onset colorectal cancer and immunotherapy, uniting survivors and advocates in response to the Cancer Moonshot initiative. Her advocacy helped pass the Removing Barriers to Colorectal Cancer Screening Act in 2020 and launched the State-by-State Catalyst Program, now supporting 12 states with grassroots grants.
Anjee serves on advisory councils and boards, including the NCI’s Clinical Trials and Translational Research Advisory Committee. For two terms, she chaired the NCI’s Council of Research Advocates and was appointed to the President’s Cancer Panel.
Anjee’s leadership has positioned Fight CRC as a key partner among local, state, national, and global groups. Her dedication has earned her awards such as the Betty Anne Moore Community Leadership Award and the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Laurel Award for Advocacy.
Before Fight CRC, Anjee developed a statewide awareness and screening program at the University of South Carolina’s Center for Colon Cancer Research. She was the administrative director of a basic science cohort funded by NIH.
Anjee holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwest Missouri State University and a Master of Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
