Who Are Our Ambassadors?

Ambassadors are personally impacted by colorectal cancer—whether as survivors, caregivers, or passionate advocates. They are committed to making a difference. Their diverse experiences and perspectives have shaped powerful advocacy efforts for over 10 years.

With our next class, we’re taking a new approach with our Ambassador Program. Instead of selecting individuals, we are inviting groups impacted by colorectal cancer to apply together — because colorectal cancer doesn’t just impact one person, it affects everyone who loves that patient.

We want to hear the collective story of how this disease has shaped family dynamics, relationships, and resilience. By elevating the voices of you and your team, we aim to highlight the strengths, challenges, and unique impact that colorectal cancer has on loved ones.

Ambassador Teams will work together as advocates, sharing their journey, amplifying awareness, and driving change as a united force.

What Do We Mean by “your team”?

For this initiative, your team is defined broadly—it includes anyone who has stood by you in this fight against colorectal cancer. Your team isn’t limited to blood relations or legal ties. It’s made up of the people who’ve shown up for you—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—through the most challenging moments.

Your team might include:

  • Immediate or extended family members
  • A spouse, partner, or children
  • Close friends who’ve become like family
  • Caregivers or a support network that helped you navigate your diagnosis and treatment
  • Your physician or members of your clinical care team
  • Fellow advocates or survivors who’ve walked this journey alongside you

This year’s Fight CRC Ambassadors will represent the collective strength and experience of facing colorectal cancer—with the unwavering support of their team, however they define it.
