Colorectal cancer is hard. It’s traumatic. But the fight can also be inspirational. Believe it or not,
sharing what you’ve been through might just be the encouragement someone else needs to face their fight
today. It can help you heal, too.

We encourage anyone with a colorectal cancer story to share. To get ideas of what others said, check
out our Champion Stories Hub.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, we're reminded that in some cultures, talking about health — even something as simple as poop—isn't easy. But having these conversations in our families and communities can save lives.

We honor Jess, who bravely shared her story and was a fierce advocate for #colorectalcancer. Her passing is still deeply felt, and we're proud to continue carrying her message forward in hopes of saving lives and building comfort in conversations that matter.
In 2024, Carina went in for a colonoscopy after experiencing constipation and diarrhea. Doctors found a tumor and performed a colon resection, removing the entire right side of her colon. At first, she was told it was stage II #coloncancer. But after meeting with an oncologist, she learned it was stage IV, since the cancer had already spread to her liver.

Two weeks later, Carina started FOLFOX chemotherapy. At first, liver surgery wasn't an option. But after more than seven rounds of chemo and major tumor shrinkage, her oncologist gave the go-ahead.

In May 2025, she had a liver resection. Now, with one more round of chemo and a PET scan ahead, she's on track to be NED.

Every story adds strength to our fight. Tell yours.

Did you know your enamel is weakest right after brushing? Eating too soon can throw off your mouth's natural pH, weaken enamel, and raise your risk for decay. During treatment, extra snacking or rebrushing after throwing up can make this worse. Try waiting 30 minutes before eating again after brushing and stick to water in the meantime to help protect your teeth.
