Colon - Stage II |

Age at Diagnosis: 30

Colleen had severe abdominal pain, diarrhea and dramatic weight loss for months. She asked for a colonoscopy and even suggested that she might have colon cancer, but was refused and told that she was too young. Instead, she was misdiagnosed with IBS, Crohn’s disease, and even told to get psychiatric help. Finally, Colleen got a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with stage II colon cancer.

Colleen keeps a busy schedule as she works hard toward her goals. Colleen focuses on raising her son, but has learned to occasionally stop and smell the roses.
