I am writing out on behalf of my mother. I have little strength still but wanted to share her story. My mother was diagnosed with Stage 2 Metastatic Rectal Cancer on April 13, 2021. Prior to this she had been given the run around from doctors and was in excruciating pain, experiencing extreme discomfort, having issues with bowel movements, bleeding in the stool and we were even told she had fistulas which were preventing and causing the strain for her to try and use the bathroom. I was with her and both of our hearts immediately sank. The journey was long, I rearranged my whole life to be there with and for my mother every single step of the way until her last breath. My mother gained her wings in our home under hospice care on 12/14/2022 at 9:06 AM. I will forever honor and cherish and tell her story.
